Erik Ziegler,
Skate Graphic Artist
— Founder of Nosebonk

The Story Behind Nosebonk

After two decades in UX design, Erik started Nosebonk — an independent project exploring skateboarding through graphics, printmaking and visual experimentation.

Nosebonk began during the pandemic, when Erik Ziegler finally found time to reconnect with drawing, printmaking and skateboarding after years focused on leading UX design teams and digital work.

What started as a personal outlet slowly evolved into an independent skate art project shaped by skate videos, street graphics, DIY culture and years spent skating.

Through Nosebonk, Erik explores skateboarding through prints, skateboard graphics, tees and visual experiments produced in small batches from his Madrid studio.

“The Nosebonk project is about motion, mixing styles, and staying longlive connected to what I love most, skateboarding and design”

Many of the graphics begin with familiar skateboarding symbols, memories or visual references and are later transformed through typography, abstraction and graphic experimentation.

Rather than following trends or fast fashion, the project focuses on staying connected to skateboarding while building a personal visual archive around it. From posters to decks and hand-printed tees, Nosebonk continues to evolve as an independent creative playground where skateboarding and graphic design collide.
